Bikaner Orthopaedics Surgeon’s Society (BOSS) Bikaner conducted a state-level conference. The theme of the conference was "Management of Intra-Articular Fractures."

The state-level conference "MID ROSACON 2024 BIKANER" was successfully held on 7th-8th September 2024 at Ridhi-Shidhi Resort, Bikaner. Organized by Bikaner Orthopaedics Surgeon’s Society (BOSS), particularly in managing intra-articular fractures. The conference was attended by 152 delegates, including senior orthopaedic surgeons and postgraduate students from various states.

Day 1: Skill-Enhancing Workshops

On the first day, 35 scientific papers were presented related to the conference theme by senior Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the guest lecture was delivered by Dr. S.K. Agarwal on "Implant Failure in Orthopaedics."

Day 2: Scientific Deliberations

Day two In the conference inaugural ceremony, the Principal of SPMC Bikaner, Dr. Gunjan Soni, President-elect ROSA, BOSS President Dr. B.L. Khajotia, Secretary (ROSA), and Secretary (BOSS) Dr. R.P. Lohiya enlightened the lamp.

Day 3: Research Presentations

On the third day, 8th September, 26 free papers were presented by PG students, and a hands-on workshop on "Meniscal Repair - All Inside Technique" was conducted and participated in by 14 delegates.

Conference Concluded with the Following Highlights
  • Various conditions like tennis elbow, Tendo-Achilles tear, and early stages of osteoarthritis (OA) can be effectively treated with the help of ORTHOBIOLOGICS. These treatments promote natural healing and can potentially prevent the need for surgery.
  • It was introduced that players can now enhance their sporting skills and prevent injuries using advanced Sports Biomechanics Assessment Software.
